"The suffering inside Iraq can come to an end when Saddam Hussein's regime is replaced. And I hope -- and most of the world community hopes -- that this regime based on terrorism and atrocities against his own people will be replaced. Over time, we hope to achieve that result."
-Al Gore, 1993
"They dare not admit the truth lest they look like complete fools for launching our country into a reckless, discretionary war against a nation that posed no immediate threat to us whatsoever."
-Al Gore, June 24 2004
LOL! Great job.
Those are pretty mild contradictory and hypocritical statements by Algore. There are far better ones available. Lets make this thread a compendium.
"As the Gore Turns" a new daytime soap.
Nice shooting and welcome home to FR.
GOOOOOORE! What is he good for? Absolutly Nothin'!
Where did you find that first quote? I'd love to find more like that! :-D
What I would love to do is make a poster to put up in the office about all the contradictions that Kerry, Klintoon, Al Bore and the like state now-a-days...
Anyone wanna help with that? ;-)
bump
BTW, I maintain the state-by-state KerryTrack ping lists so we can coordinate Freepers protesting his events arounfd the country. May I ask what state you're in?
Where's Bore's wife Tipper been lately? Anyone know?
Now let's try "compare".
Also, there was a thread yesterday that I can not find that had a speech by Algore when he was a candidate in 1992 linking Iraq and Terrorism and the need to take out Saddam. Someone find it and post it here.
Still looking for that 1992 speech. Here is some other info.
