I was involved with the U.S. ARMY BAND in Pocatello Idaho. They were scheduled for that year (early 90s) and they are only available every few years in each community.

The theater where they were to play burned down and the only place available was ISU (Idaho State University). Each year the university had one night they gave to a nonprofit community event. I had to write a letter asking for the time and place and state why we should be the choice.

When ISU said yes, I now had to fill 4000 seats instead of 400.

It was amazing how many people came to see the US Army Band. More than 4000 people had free tickets to the concert.
It was the largest audience they had ever had.
Awesome.

That's Fantastic. You did a heck of a job getting that many people out of their lazy boy's!
