Actually, yes........it was the first run-through, or, more accurately, stumble-through..........(we're doing "Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"). First time we went from start to finish in sequence. Everything is blocked & staged..........now it just needs to be tweaked. That's next week's work. The following week we start rehearsing with orchestra, then tech rehearsal on the 12th, then 3 dress rehearsals, and we're off & running (10 performances.)
It's a fun show, and I had forgotten how SHORT it is.........only about 2 hours, including intermission.

That's great about Boychild! I know you're counting down the days ... maybe even hours ... at this point.

I think I posted pics of both the Ronald Reagan and the Nancy Reagan roses during the week that President Reagan died.
Others have posted the one named for him. Here is the Nancy Reagan rose ...
There is a Barbara Bush rose, also.

We may leave town again tomorrow ... will decide in the morning.
We had an awful trip home today ... heavy traffic, road construction, a stand-still because of an accident ahead, horrible weather, detours, etc. It took us nearly twice as long as normal to get home. We're both exhausted ... but we may strike off in the other direction and go to Wilmington on Saturday. We really need to get down there and do some things at m-i-l's house. We'll make the decision after we've both been up a while and see if we're up to yet another trip. We're pretty sure we're going back to Wilmington next weekend to meet hubby's sister and some of her kids to finish cleaning out the house but there is much we could do this weekend as far as getting stuff packed up and bringing home some of the smaller items.
If we go, we will probably leave after lunch on Saturday and return home Sunday night.

Prayers continue, Kay. God bless you, and (your recently expanded) yours.
Grandbabies are so cool... As long as a child has to take care of them. ;>)

Kay- I can't imagine your drive in that weather.
An alternative would have been to come here for a great dinner. Mrs Raven has found the perfect spaghetti sauce recipe after a multi-decades search. Goodness is it good!! It has things like Milk and chicken livers in it !!

Quote of the day:
Even if we give first priority to the destruction of terrorist networks, and even if we succeed, there are still governments that could bring us great harm. And there is a clear case that one of these governments in particular represents a virulent threat in a class by itself: Iraq. As far as I am concerned, a final reckoning with that government should be on the table." - Al Gore, Remarks To The U.S. Council On Foreign Relations, Washington, DC, February 12, 2002.

G'morning. I'm waiting on my coffee to brew. 50 degrees here this morning.
I'm helping with another Parade this morning and then we're attending the wedding of one of Son #3's friends. Sonny Boy is in the wedding.
