Darnright gave me permission to post this in a FReepmail. It was yesterday's word, but it is just too great not to post:

"Remember the old Cinderella movie, probably circa 1960 something? It starred Lesley Ann Warren and Stuart Damon. There was a song in the thing, and it's quoted below:

Impossible,
For a plain yellow pumpkin to become a golden carriage!
Impossible,
For a plain country bumpkin and a prince to join in marriage!
And four grey mice will never be four white horses.
Such folderol and fiddle-dee-dee, of course, is
Impossible!

But the world is full of zanies and fools
Who don't believe in sensible rules,
And won't believe what sensible people say.
And because these daft and dewy eyed dopes
Keep building up impossible hopes,
Impossible
Things are happening every day!

This poster is good! Thanks, darnright!

Please give your hubby our condolences. The rat b@$tard$ are now showing the photograph of the beheading.

If the Iraqis don't have an uprising over this, I'm going to be really, really upset.

I love the music in that version. There is no other Cinderella, except for the animated one. Remember : In my own little corner, in my own little chair, I can be whatever I want to be...
