Hi everyone,
Speaking of Dad's words of wisdom... I have a couple that my Grandfather reminds me of (In fact, he said the second quote to me today). I'm not sure where he got them from...
(1) It's easy enough to be pleasant
when life flows along like a song.
But the one who's worthwhile is the one who can smile
when everything goes dead wrong.
(2) Never marry an old man,
I'll tell you the reason why.
Tobacco juice is on his lip
His chin is never dry.
An old man may have money
And cattle on his farm,
But a young man knows just how to love
With a power in his arm.
Thanks for sharing your Grandfather's sayings with us, Tulip.
Both of these are great but I really like the first one.
Hope you had a super Saturday. Have a blessed Sunday and stop by tomorrow if you have time.
"(2) Never marry an old man," LOL! OK.
