I wanted cooler weather for WeddingMoot, believe it or not. I packed for it anyway. I guess Miami followed me up there because it was hot! I was prepared to deal with 60s and 70s, but 80s were what we got.
You can only imagine what my weather feels like to me today. Muggy and almost 90 degrees right now. I just had the quickest cigarette in history! ;-D
We had a cold front come through...it was mid-70's here yesterday. It's supposed to reach 86 today.
Okay, advice needing time...
My Mom was planning to come today to spend time with Luke. But her health is not going to allow that. Her 74th birthday is Friday, so naturally I didn't shop ahead to mail something.
I gotta wire something for her birthday. At this point I won't even get cards there on time (Yes, I know I was at the store last night and no I didn't think about it).
Trying to think of something different than flowers. Although I think she rarely gets them so she may appreciate them. A fruit basket would likely be wasted.
Any ideas? I have to schedule it to arrive on Friday.
