We left Hair's place at 10:20 and got to the airport around 11:30, if I remember right. I finished checking the baggage at 11:45. My flight left at 1:30.
"Don't tell me what zone to load in!"
We're not going to get into that argument again, are we? :)
OK! - She's got to be up there before then, so WN will still take her... You know, morning traffic northbound being what it is, you may have better travel conditions if you wait to leave till 8:30 and don't hit Tacoma till after nine. Prolly arrive at the same time at the destination, without the slowdown enroute.
Have a good night!
So what's the honeymoon plans?--where y'all going? :)
Yep, I was figuring just over an hour to drive up there, a half hour to turn in the rental and get taken to the airport, another half hour for anything unexpected... which would get us there three hours before flight, which should give us plenty of time to get checked in and have lunch at the airport before flight time.
Hehehe!
Yeah, I wondered about that... original thought was not to leave until 9:00 am... but the news stories about the long lines at the airport scared me.
Off to pack! Give us a call when you leave!
Honeymoon! We're too tired to honeymoon! We'll rest out the rest of the week, maybe do some nice little fun things. Not going anywhere. Our trip to Florida in January was a pretty special trip, and we are kindof counting that as our major trip of the year.
By the time I finished the sandwich, it was 12:40.
Heh, heh... you may have noticed, we don't move that fast. ;)
You are very welcome...and I think it quite appropriate that you let ecurbh carry the beer.
I wouldn't worry too much, the news is always trying to get folk to panic.
Traffic north of Tacoma is heavy for the morning commute... But I had pretty good luck making better time if I left Oly after 8:30 than before that.
Get something you can take on the plane.
~smiles~
"He's just big boned..."
He's not overweight--for his height. . .
A week of rest sounds pretty good, too! I know I get tired just attending a wedding--I bet running one must be vey tiring!
I am tired, and I don't even feel like I ran it! My dad and his lady friend really went all out on this.
So many people went all out for us, traveling here to see us. I am overwhelmed by how many people were able to come, and all those who couldn't, who sent gifts and cards and well-wishes here, in the mail and followed along with us on the thread.
And for my brother and my dad and Dona who really did a lot behind the scenes to make all this happen.
Thank you, and we love you all!
