It's Home Improvement Moot!--LOL!

My family has voted to see "Around the World in 80 Days" for Father's Day, so I'll be off to see that soon. Hope everyone's having a great Father's Day!

Everyone is sitting around the table snacking on a bunch of peanut butter cups that are melted into one big heap.

What're my chances with eggses that say "Best by June 2." (or was it June '02?)

Corin just got back from Lowes and Home Depot and Walmart. He did get the stuff he needs to fix Luke's fort, but he really doesn't want to go back out to the grocery store. (and he doesn't want pizza)

Put the egg(s) in a glass and fill the glass with water. If it floats, it's bad.

Mmmmmm. Reeesseeess.

LSA is fixing herb garden pasta, she just clipped basil, lemon basil, parsely, mint, all from the garden, we walked to the store for the chives. We have the linguini ready to go, need to grate some parmessaienen (Sp?) cheese and we'll be good to go.

Spent most of the morning dead heading and trimming the day lily stalks, got some pics this afternoon, we'll see if they turn out good enough to post (eventually).

Hmmm. wonder how reesseess pieces would work in 'smores. Have a great time at the 'Witches Circle'. Let's see 'Golden Arm' 'Phantom Truck Stop' 'Hitchiker At the Crossroads' 'Sasquatch'. Yup that should about cover it.

Scramble it and mix stuff in like ham, sausage, cheese. You could do fried rice.

Hmmmmmmm.....perhaps you should invite Coriin over for dinner?

OT

Oooooo...an idea: how about eggs scrambled into the pasta? Cook the pasta first, drain it. Break the egg into the pot, scramble them up a bit and mix in the pasta before the egg is set. Then you could put black pepper on top. Maybe you could add some ham or bacon or maybe grated cheese...

You know I got most of them herbs growin' out in the yard...'course it would help if I knew what to do with them. I do have chicken and veggies in the freezer.

Eggses just sounded easier. What I want is a steak...

False alarm. It's a "horse clam".
