Iowa Granny inspired this thread with her comment "more rain heading in". God bless the rain.

Gotta go check the pies.

We are in drought conditions in California. So please send some of those storms our way.

For the past two afternoons we have had big thunderheads that move across our sky toward the mountains. I understand they are having the thunder and lightening with the rain in the high country. We get the humidity.

We've had rain, rain and more rain for the past several months, causing flooding, mudslides, wet basements and a general feeling of moldy malaise. Nevertheless, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

I found a ping list, and will utilize it in the next post.

Selfishly, I'm hoping for a fairly dry July in MA. We've gotta dig the hole and pour the basement walls for the addition to our house!

We're drowning here, and it's raining again! Yikes!

I drove past a nearby park with a large soccer/baseball field complex, playground and pavilions, and it is ALL under water!

Hey, Suzi! I just drove through your state last week!

Other than all the Kerry bumper stickers, it's still beautiful! :o)

We just came back from playing golf. Practically the whole course was under water. If I could have fit a wet-dry vacuum in the bag, I would have carried it with me instead of my fairway woods.

One of the year's gooniest conspiracy theories:

Janet Jackson says that she and her breast were used. The singer who brought us Nipplegate feels that she’s the victim of “a plot by conservative forces” in the U.S. according to the Sunday Express of London.

“I was used just to take the attention off what was really going on in the world,” Jackson told the paper.

“A lot of things that actually happened, the after-effects, all that was already on the desk but everyone’s trying to point the finger, ‘See what you did, see what you did.’ I didn’t do anything. It was going to happen at some point with someone, it just so happened to be me. They made something out of nothing. ... Everybody’s got their underwear in a knot in America.” MSNBC

Yet another example of mental illness in Hollyweird. It sounds as if Janet has been theorizing with Michael Moore

Paranoid schizophrenia is perfectly sane as long as the ones you claim are out to get you are conservatives.

I'm hunkering down for the 3rd Thunderstorm of the day. I fear my grandchildren will grow webs between their toes. And the younger ones have probably forgotten what the sun looks like.

Thanks...big day. His mom & dad headed up there today. They'll have a fun week. Stewart, Lisa & the boys were already in the NY area for last week's tournament, stayed over and moved out to Long Island this week for the Open. Stewart & Lisa went into NYC Saturday to celebrate their anniversary.

Tee times are 1:10 Eastern Thursday and 8:10 Friday. He's playing with Vijay Singh. I imagine they'll get a good bit of coverage. Fingers crossed here!

This Guild thread doesn't appear in the "Guild search" feature. I must have clicked a wrong button. Can it be fixed?

On the last thread you said "...check out V-catch Basic, SpyBot, and Bit-Defender".

I use SpyBot. Please tell me what the others do. Thanks.

Great thread! You tell such engaging stories, how did that pie turn out? (I will not think about pie, I will not think about pie!)

I just checked the Guild search and this thread is there. Sometimes there are threads of another subject that have Guild in the title so you might have to look a little closer.

Thanks so much for the new thread!
