Savage played some clips of what Bush said about Clinton. More 'compassionate' conservatism i guess. If that is the example we are to follow then I guess we should say good things about all the liberals now. Savage is not over the top kissin' Clinton's behind is over the top. I agree with Savage's assessment. Imagine how kissy kissy nice 'compassionate' conservatism as mandated by Bush will sound at our Republican convention. We might as well just let Democrats speak there.

You certainly have some Anti-Bush and Pro-Dem ideas there,

Word of advice, if you want to survive around here, think before you bloviate.

I agree with you.
I really don't care to listen to Savage because of his constant negative tone. I happened to catch him today and I agree with him on this.
I read a number comments on here totally misrepresenting Savage. He never said anything about insulting Clinton. However, Bush sounded like he was delighted Clinton had been president.
Clinton is a disgusting man and he is not worthy of any praise.
Let's not forget:
1) He probably raped Kathleen Willey
2) took advantage of people like Paula Jones.
3) Lied under oath.
4) Fired people from the White House (Travel Staff) and then trumped up charges after the fact.
and much much more.
Do you think Bush would have done the same if his daughter had been one Bill Clinton's victim? Of course not. Being cordial is one thing but lifting Bill Clinton up as if he is something that he was not is going to far.
