Morning Star,

Thank you for Song to the Evening Star by Thomas Campbell. I absolutely love the old English and wish it were still in practice.

I had the wonderful opportunity to have a neighbor read Chaucer to me. I was recovering from surgery and she offered to give me a reading as a comfort to me.

I honored her with an Anthology in which my work had been published.

Good morning Ms. Feather!

When I was a senior in high school I took an English Lit class. My teacher was, um, shall we say playing for the wrong team...but he had this big booming voice and listening to him read was cool. He liked Chaucer, and read it often. In that class we also read Dante's "The Inferno." 1st hour -- he would make us read aloud and then would correct our emphasis and diction. He was a good teacher in that regard.
