 There are times as I sit here
Wondering how you're feeling today
That I know the depth of my feelings
But there are no words to convey
How very loved you are.
I sometimes feel that the three little words
"I love you" are so overused and
Under-meant that I hesitate to rely
Upon them to make you understand
How very loved you are.
I can send you cards and notes and
Even email and voice mail but then
I am stuck with just those three words to say
In my limited vocabulary once again
How very loved you are.
And so it seems those three little words,
Because they're all I can find
Must carry a very heavy weight -
And only hint at the depth behind
How very loved you are.
I love you.
