He was the first president I could vote for and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I'm glad he's at peace now.

You and dubya are such kids. Eisenhower was the first President I supported in 1956. Nixon was the first president I campaigned for in 1960 and 1968 and voted for in 1972. I would have voted for him in 1968 but the voting age hadn't been lowered in '68.

Yup my first presidental vote was BobDole, I missed 92 by 11 months.

I was a huge Reagan fan as a young child, in a house full of (at the time) apolitical Democrats. Iran-Contra pushed me to the right as I was and still am convinced that the Sandanista loving Senate Democrats were and are traitors and should be treated as such.

I voted for Nixon in 1972, also. I've never voted for a dem. Maybe something is wrong with me.
