My dog is a nice girl. She even plays with crickets without hurting them.
That's interesting. My cat gets bugs on command, she plays with them till they don't play back no more. I had a dog as a kid that got bugs on demand too.
(I may have already told this to you...) One evening I was talking on the phone in the living room. My cat came into the room from the direction of the bathroom. He sat down lowered his head and opened his mouth. A large spider about 3 inches in diameter including its legs, fell out of my cat's mouth and landed on the carpet in front of him. It didn't move as it was stunned from its ride. Then it began to run across the floor. I watched and decided to stomp on it and kill it as I did not want a giant spider extended family living in out house. My cat sat and watched this whole thing. After the spiders demise, my cat got up and walked over to the dead spider, sniffed at the carcas, then walked away disappointedly.
