Ouch! Pain will probably be more of a problem than bleeding, I think.
I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled when I was still in high school... they came out cleanly with no breaking, and the nurse gave them to me wrapped up in a slightly bloody paper towel. I took them home, cleaned them off, and put them in a little plastic coin tube. I still have that somewhere!
Oh, lovely.
Mine were impacted...wrapped around my jawbone. I passed out in the dentists chair and woke up with O2 on me and the dentist saying "Are you ok??? Are you ok???"
I bled a lot, just stood over the sink with blood pouring out of my mouth. My boyfriend at the time made warm teabags and I put them in my mouth and it slowed and then stopped the bleeding all together.
So I'm ready! LOL I even put warm teabags on Matthew's gums after he lost a tooth naturally!
I just feel like, as a nurse, I gotta do SOMETHIN'!
