A picnic at the park versus going out to eat, etc.

I would rather have an entire summer of relaxing picnics with the family than one single day of standing in lines at an amusement park (and paying $50-$100 for the privelege!) My neighbors are often shocked when I tell them that I have never gone to Cedar Point. Why should I? Just not my cuppa tea.

I am the same way. I would rather pack a lunch and let the baby run around and play then fight the crowds, and eat at 125 miles an hour because nap time is approaching. LOL. We haven't gone to cedar Point either. just another amusement park I guess. ;)

OH, you can say that again! You can even get a year's family membership at the zoo for the price of one amusement park ticket. Battlefields and military bases are some of our favorite excursions ... room to run around, and plenty of weapons to see!
