New Buddies
A couple of new buddies have just shown up at our door,
And we were wondering what the heck they came here for,
But then we realized that wed put out the welcome mat,
And they could surely see it at the height theyre standing at.
So welcome friends, pull up a chair, er, make yourselves at home,
And we can have a good time if the elk dont come to roam.
Other animals are here, the wolf, and bears and such,
So why not have some rodents too, they will not eat too much.
We know they will be sociable, their family is like that,
And they can whistle up some charm, if someone drops a hat.
I hope they might be poets, we could use some more of those,
The ones we have are such that we must keep them on their toes.

Cute little rodent poem, NnB. ;-)
Thank you for adding such delightful poems to the graphics I make.
I am about to post the Indiana thread over at the Finest. I know you wanted to see that before you left, Amy, since that is where you are headed. An Indiana ping will be on it's way shortly.

Very cute!
This reminds me of the time I was living with my mom and she had a chipmunk that had gotten into and was living in her house. It almost seemed like it was becoming tame, it would get braver about showing itself around people. One day my mom came home and there was fur everywhere in her living room. She also had a pet cat.
