Good day, lass! Nice to hear from you.

That is a very well written poem. I am glad you wrote it. I have a friend in her 50's who met and married her husband through her father's ill-health and untimely death. Her husband was also very ill, though they did not know this when they got married. I think she would tell you that we never completely get over the loss of loved ones, but the pain diminishes with time.

I'm glad to have met you and have you in my life. You have made my life a better place to be.

My friend lost her husband to his disease, September 11, 2002. She was tempted to drive her car into the river, but did not, and I am very glad she did not. She prayed and asked the Lord to lift the overwhelming grief from her and He did. She said she felt immediate relief. She said she will always miss him, but now is in a place where she can go on with her life and is dating in her 50's!
