Black Coffee

It grows on little bushes,
Not trees or even vine.
The bean needs to be roasted,
Then brewed into fine wine.
Colombia, does grow the best,
I like mine mountain grown.
No cream, no sugar in it,
Starbucks, yeech, I moan.
Just hot and fresh and in a cup,
I really like it black.
You keep your Cappuccino,
I’d want my money back.

A few of my favorite things:

Apple pies topped with thick Devonshire creams
Puppy dogs, Mother, Thanksgiving, sweet dreams
Hot sunny beaches, cold mountain streams
Stuffing both cheeks with six fresh Krispy Kremes.
