It turned out right because you didn't just come back here and complain, you demanded to talk to the manager. EXCELLENT!
Mebbe it's just me, though. I've never had any problem getting a conservative book in any bookstore, even if they had to order it for me. I've never tried in any really lefty areas, luckily.
So....thats what the book is hard to get....HUH?
Hmm? Not following the question there...
Alot is one word, and we can bust on each other about typos all day, I suppose, but my comma key is broken so dont start on that. : )
Wouldn't dream of it. :^)
And thanks for saying I showed them, because I only have one since that unfortunate childhood incident, and I have always had a minor inferiority problem. You have healed me forever.
I stopped at the grocery store on the way home, and there on display was the book. I never would have thought Krogers would have it and the others not.
It was at the front table of my local B.Daltons for awhile a couple of weeks ago. I saw it sitting there. They've sold out since then, though.
Why would you even suggest that a second generation native born Houstonion move anyplace? And where would you suggest I move?
Why do I shop a B&N? We do buy from Amazon but the little weazely liberal clerks with the pierced eyebrows & the bad haircuts are so much fun to harass when they don't have a conservative book because it is selling so well they can't keep it. Ha! How is that for a run-on sentance?
"Why would you even suggest that a second generation native born Houstonion move anyplace? And where would you suggest I move?"
Forgive me. I forgot you were in Texas. Of course I'm no fan of Houston, but I am a Texan. I must've taken leave of my faculties. :)
Had this experience today at Borders when I picked up my second copy. A purple haired girl was reading the back dust cover as if it were an alien cookbook entitled "to serve man".
Forgiven! Poor thing you must be in Dallas. LOL
"C'mon down here and say that to my face! I'm very proud to be one of just a few native Houstonians."
Don't make me get rough with you, Xena. It won't be pretty. :) HA! Just kidding!
As I told Ditter, forgive me. I must've taken leave of my faculties. I am no fan of Houston, but I am a Texan, born and raised. Born in Corpus Christi and lived all over Texas till I joined the U.S. Army. So, naturally my heart goes out to her. I must've just been suffering from temporary insanity. Can you forgive me? :)
One other question: Is there a Xenaheavy?
Anyone ever bought books from here? I've gotten a couple solicitations from them in the mail.

Nope. I'm a lot farther away than that. Spokane, WA. It's a long, boring story, but I'm fixing to move south again. Not quite to Texas, but Nevada.
Ah Elko! Know it well. There's a beauty spot for ya. LOL
