Right click on a white space on the screen...choose encoding from the list...then choose Western European (ISO) from the next list.
That's what I've got on right now. It only looks "normal" (to me, anyways) when I've got Hebrew on there, but it keeps changing back whenever I change FR pages, whether I've got auto-select on or not. Today is the first time it's ever done that.
