"But Paco is very important to us. We need to get him back." I hope she finds him.
I have lost a lot of kitties who disappeared without a trace. I always worry, wondering if they were hurt somewhere nearby or far, or if they just wandered into their next life. Much easier on me to have dogs I can fence in. I think I am too controlling to feel comfortable with wandering cats.
My current kitty disappeared for two whole months once. I thought he was gone for sure. He showed up full of infection from fighting and thin, but he came back. I wish her luck.

I adopted Paco from the Animal Rescue League last year and fell in love with the little guy," Stack said from the home she shares with her mother, two dogs and three other cats. "I really want him back." The feeling may not be mutual.
Telephone poles in those communities are plastered with posters of the missing tabby, who slipped out of Stack's front door on April 19, leaped over a fence and disappeared into the night...
Stack, in her 40s....
A pattern emerges.
