I'm glad you shared this. I wore a happy dress for Grama's funeral too. I knew she would want me to.

Exactly! And...though humanly I was heartbroken, I also knew that she was beyond all mourning, and done with being sick and in pain.

I can't imagine what it would be like to lose someone that close to you without having any hope of anything to come. I think I would have lost my mind, seriously.
