Here are some of my favorites:
MUSIC
http://www.icebergradio.com/ This is a great Canadian internet radio site, that has about 200 different channels to choose fromin the genres of Adult Contemporary, Alternative, Big Band, Blues, Classical, Country, Electronica, Jazz, Oldies, Opera, Pop, R&B, Rock, Urban, World, etc. Very few commercials, free to register, They even have a standup comedy channel.
http://www.radioparadise.com/ Pretty eclectic rock site. Old and new, definitely not your Top 40 type of radio. Reminds me a little bit of college music stations, without the stoned DJs.
TALK
http://www2.krla870.com/listen/ THE conservative talk radio lineup, IMHO. Starting in the wee hours of the morning, Bill Bennett. Then, feisty Laura Ingraham. Next, Dennis Prager, Michael Medved and Hugh Hewitt. All but Laura can be heard 24/7.
http://www.daveramsey.com/radio/home/ Great show about managing money, getting out of debt and becoming financially free. Dave is a little over the top sometimes, but his passion is infectious. You can hear the last 2 weeks worth of shows archived here.
http://www.npr.org/ I know, I know. Theyre notoriously liberal, their hosts are smarmy and elitist, but doggone it, they do have some good shows. For example, WhatDya Know? And Wait Wait
Dont Tell Me! are great fun. Even some of their interview and news shows are good in the sense that (1) they help you understand how the libs view the world, and (2) they spend more time and delve into topics more fully than almost any other news programs. Im paying for it with my tax money anyway; I might as well get some use out of it.
What do YOU all like to listen to?
