I have a friend whose (large) cat throws shoes when she thinks it's time to wake up. How scary is that?! My large orange guy has learned to bat the vertical blinds when he wants to me to wake up and feed him. Magic Bear used to get right in my face and start licking my forehead when he wanted me to get up. They all have their ways of getting us humans to do their bidding...
