Speaking of the time difference, have you heard if they are going to do anything about the media reporting on the election on the east coast before the polls close on the west?
I know that was a problem last time,and then they talked about trying to do something, but haven't heard anything since.

They can talk about trying not to report all they want, but I just don't think they can really achieve it. Really.... they could just close the polls earlier here. Most folk either vote on the way to work or during the day anyhow. I think it is a protocol issue more than a real one, that they could theoretically call the race before the polls close. I don't think people who would have voted don't go because they hear early tallies from the east.

They are not going to do anything. They are going to count on people forgetting that it was the medias fault and they will go on calling at the states for Kerry as soon as possible.
