Your pictures didn't show up:(
I took some but Mack hasn't posted them yet and I don't know how. I may learn now tho, so I don't have to wait on him:)

Okay they showed this time.
He looks real pretty trotting with you:)
ecurbh (what does that stand for, when I read it I read e curb h:) looks like he is sitting really good , his legs don't look like they are drifting back at all.
Harley jumps ditches instead of steping over or down. That's about the extent of my jumping. He really isn't suppose to do that, so I'm working on it, but it's actually easier to sit the jump when I'm not holding him back to step in, then if I just give him his head and let him jump. It's been fun so I've kind of been letting him:)

ecurbh is his name and last initial spelled backwards ;~D
ecurbh does have good seat and hands I think! - He's doing really well and is going to be a good rider. I am so nervous when he's up.... Bay is pretty good, but he's still challenging... he's no school horse!
Bay shouldn't have jumped that little thing when I was on him either... I actually took him over again and made him walk it. He was hoppin' it with ecurbh too half the time so he is teaching ecurbh to be prepared for anything!

Ok, It worked:')
I'm the 49 y/o rookie here that decided to take up riding again after 39 years. You will find that I'm still green:') My horse's name is Tishamingos Gypsy Van. I call him Okie though . He's a 6/o old paint. I bought him from Becky on Valentines day. Okie was born in Oklahoma and now lives in Texas. I'm a city slicker so I have to stable him. I live in a subdivision and my neighbors wouldn't have a sense of humor about me keeping him in the back yard. :')

Becky sure found you a pretty horse...
I wouldn't mind having a nice strong QH or Paint for our new one. Or an Appy. There is a nice appy-only private camping place we could join if we find an appy.

Well if he's doing that good on a horse that isn't a school horse, he will be good.
But you know, like I told Cindy sometimes school horses can be a challenge. My experince with them is they are hard to get them to go. That can be as frustrating as one that goes to easy.
Alot depends on each persons attitude.

One girl I knew put the treat in the breast pocket of her T-shirt:). groannnnnnnnnnnnn

I remember school horses like that.... used to kids thumping them in the sides, and they could ignore it.
With ecurbh I had to remind him not to cue too hard or he is going to get a canter before he learns to trot!

ecurbh (what does that stand for, when I read it I read e curb h:)I know Hair already responded, but to clarify a little further, it is my first name (Bruce) spelled backwards, followed by my last initial (H).
looks like he is sitting really good , his legs don't look like they are drifting back at all.
Thanks... I think it is because I have the most wonderful teacher in the world! ;~D

When ecurbh is ready to be buyin' we'll talk!
I would like him to ride enough that he can test out his own prospects, as well as have an idea which type of horse he wants, whether he likes the Arab personality or if he'd like something else.

I used to get so frustrated. The instructor would yell "kick her, keep kicking her" My legs flapping and felt like I was abusing the horse but it didn't phase her. She would only move when the instructor came up to her with a "move" look in her eyes :')
To: ecurbh
It's fun isn't it? :')
To: HairOfTheDog; ecurbh
Actually, and I'm not really trying to sale him to you:), but when you talked about looking for a horse to do dressage, I don't know alot about English, and nothing about dressage, but both my daughter who has done English, and I think this horse moves more like an English horse then Western. I don't think he would make a Western Pleasure horse. He has a real powerful forward movement, but stays very nice and collected. Reminds me of that picture of you on Bay trotting. I'm going to train him on barrels, but I have told a friend of mine who teaches english I have a horse that I think would make a great English horse.
Oh and I'll stop talking about ecurbh/you in the third person. I didn't think of him/you being around reading:)
Becky
To: HairOfTheDog
LOL, I didn't mean I wouldn't sale him to you either. I think I've put my foot in it. But I think you know what I mean
Becky
To: CindyDawg
Sure is! I'm looking forward to the day when I can go for my first trail ride.
