I really hate those types.
I never understood them.
For me, once it's "over" it's over for good no 'friends' no 'buddies' no contact it's done and buried.
(Had a few get upset about that. "Why can't we be friends?" Answer: because she habitually boned her 'friends' and expected her boyfriend to be okay with that.)
The 'last' girl I dated way back in the past got really angry that I pretty much erased my existence from her life.
(She shouldn't have cheated then.)
This wasn't even a "friends" or "buddies" thing. He thought he loved me, really really loved me. I figured out pretty quickly that he was a loser, and didn't want anything to do with him, but he wouldn't accept "Go away - I don't want to see you." He tracked me down even after I moved to another state (and, I didn't let him know I was moving, or where I was moving to). Pretty damn frightening. He finally disappeared - I figured he must have gotten into an accident and died, or found somebody else he thought he loved.
