My neighbor just brought over the movie "Where the Heart Is" -- is was SO GOOD! Stars Ashley Judd and Natalie Portman and Stockard Channing. I hadn't seen it before - so glad I didn't miss it altogether.

I haven't seen the movie .. but I did read the book years ago .. It was one of Oprah's book of the month club thingys

I really enjoyed reading it.

That is pretty neat about working on the movie sets and geting to meet so many people

Yes, changing jobs or the focus of what one does can definitely either expand or limit one's options. One bad thing about being a social worker in a rural county like this is that it is easy to become known...along with your business. Not only would I have to be concerned about the local gossip if I went out with a man around here, but also there would be nagging questions about whether he was a client, or in some way involved with a client. And obviously, anyone I meet in my professional capacity is out of the question. *Sigh*
