Evidently it appears that someone from my old unit thought they were doing me a favor.
The info was mostly right, except that they had me as having been born in 1978August28, and currently attending college.
(Name, e-mail addy, and mailing address was correct. Just as it was in my old service folder at the armory. The date of birth didn't appear on most of my paperwork with the e-addy and such on it, for that they would have had to rifle through the folder a bit harder.)
But, the attending college thing would be abit of an odd error.
I'd applied for Montgomery GI bill assistance for college, but never heard back from anyone about it.
My folder would show that I'd at least applied.
Which would make someone assume I was currently in college.

Curiouser and curiouser.
Wonder who I'm going to hear from in a few days?
