Resty, since you are interested in this sort of thing, I will tell you a story of my husband's ghost...if I haven't already, as I can't remember.

He was still a bachelor at thirty five and decided to rent a small house here in Cape instead of living in apartments. He found one he liked and it was almost completely furnished, although a bit dated. So, he signed a lease and moved in. He discovered that the one bathroom had only a tub and no shower, but there was a crude one in the basement. So, he just decided to take his showers there.

During his first morning shower, he heard noises coming from upstairs. He turned off the tap and it stops. He starts again and the noises begin again, as if someone is walking across the squeaking floor boards and opening doors. This went on for a couple a weeks every time he went to take his shower downstairs.

And then one night he came home from being out quite late. He took out some albums and played them awhile and then went to bed without replacing them. The next morning they were back in the console where he had originally stored them.

Then, after a couple more weeks, if he left a chair out of place in the kitchen or living room, they would be realigned perfectly when he returned.

He found out a couple of months later that a widow had died there in her home, alone. My husband lived there a couple of years with these happenings.

Now, my husband is not the hysterical or mystical type by any means. He is just a down to earth guy. But, I asked him if he ever considered moving. He said "no, the rent was right and she never bothered me. In fact, I was hoping she would have left me a nice pot roast some evening".

When I asked grannie about a since of the pass it was not really of ghost storis, it was more of a time travel that all of sudden for a brief moment she could have felt something.

One can be transported when one does their family history as one is in a state of pondering.

On land like that a celebration of birthday,or maybe a battle there are many memberies that have linger for centuries and sometimes one is allowed a glimps!
