One more -- I don't know what kind of flowers these are - they were very delicate on long stems.

Very lovely. They appear to be some variety of sego lily - Family Liliaceae, Calochortus spp.

WOW!!! . . . Valerie, that is a beautful photo . . . can you tell me if the flowers were hybrid garden varieties, or were they out in the fields with the wildflowers.
