Yes it is great news Libby and finally something is SETTLED. The divorce will be final in 31 days. One thing I forgot to mention which my husband said is really unusual for a Judge to do is this: He said "I am seizing this case for the next 12 months". Which means that ANYTHING that comes up on it will go before him because he has heard the whole case. For instance, IF Gleyn gets working which he really has to and does NOT start paying his child support, he had better look out. This Judge already told him "I don't look kindly on those who ignore Court Orders"! I think that even if Gleyn pretends that he is re-injured, it will be looked upon very suspiciously. In fact, he's working now, he's doing renovations with his brother and is being paid under the table all the while collecting welfare. The Judge did say that he believed Gleyn was doing some work under the table but that by September 1st he must be working and if he says he isn't, the Judge will calculate what he thinks Gleyn would be making and set the payments at that schedule. This work thing is so phoney because he is a workaholic. That is one of the major things that ruined his marriage. So, at least we can depend on this Judge to watch over this case for the next year. Thank God for that. He really was a reasonable, and fair Judge and he was no dummy. He also showed compassion. He stated that he knew Gleyn was hurt and felt betrayed but that he had handled himself very badly and could have ruined his children's lives. My answer, to all of this to young people, is don't rush into marriage. When you do get married make sure you are prepared to work on the rough spots!! Some cases are impossible but the young ones today have a different mentality in my view.
