Thanks Val. These people had a terrible time of it in Utica.
In the seventies, a series of tornadoes rolled across Breckinridge County, Kentucky. The old homestead was demolished but my grandmother was saved because my aunt and her husband rushed down from their mobile home and put mattresses over themselves and her. The parts of their mobile home were found up to ten miles away. Another aunt was in the basement doing laundry when the door blew open. She went upstairs to find her whole house demolished.
Nasty things, tornadoes...I should be more afraid of them.
