In the "Hot for teacher"(but reversed) files:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,119760,00.html School: Teacher Wrote Love Letters to Student
ALBANY, Ga. A high school English teacher resigned after school officials found notes and a racy poem she allegedly wrote to a 17-year-old student.
"It pleases me that you want me as much as I want you," read one of the 13 notes attributed to Carla Murray, 32. The notes were found in the male student's locker after other students tipped authorities.

Here in NY, at 17, no-one could say dip about who the guy was hooking up with, and vice versa.
The 'legal consenting age' in NY is 17.

New York has a much higher age of consent than most southern states. I would call this a violation of the teacher's moral conduct code in her contract.

The notes were obtained Tuesday by TV station WALB, which sued to have them made public. The notes were unsigned, but school investigators concluded Murray wrote them after a handwriting expert read the notes aloud to Murray and had her rewrite them. Albany Police will review the letters to see if criminal charges are warranted, Capt. Charlie Poole said Wednesday. I don't understand why the media (or public) had a right to see the notes when charges haven't even been filed. If your boss seizes some of your papers and turns them over to police, can the TV stations get them, too, even if it hasn't been determined that crime was committed?

That's such a beautiful setting for a pool. Looks like sppringtime there -- spring is almost over with here.
I've taken a lot of pics lately, but don't have a site that will host them available now. I suppose I should send a check to Fotki.

They have moral conduct codes?
So far, the only thing that's gotten teachers fired here is if they stupidly have pics taken of themselves in S&M bondage games and put them on the internet where their students can find them.
(One teacher found herself in just such a situation. She had bondage pics taken of herself at *ahem* a swinger's party and then personally put them on the internet. Her 5TH GRADE students found them. And tattled. The fathers were all okay with it, the moms were furious, the students were bummed that she got fired. The school board was embarrassed. And they promptly removed any pics they personally had online, just in case.)

Babe what Westy said was very profound and imo true!! We can equate what's happened and happening in the Western world to the Roman Empire. It fell because it became rotten in the core.!! The European Union is feverisly attempting to become the revived Roman Empire.

Yuppers.
And according to school regs and laws, anything you have in your locker is subject to search and seizure, even if it's nothing at all.
*snicker*
