Maybe Lincoln should call out all the past presidents from Washington to Nixon to come and help him, (But I wouldn't trust the Dem presidents)
Lincoln will keep an eye on them! LOL!

She's a chicken!
Doesn't she know old houses have a tendacy to settle.
Not ever bump and creek you hear is a ghost.
When I lived in Tenn. when I was a small child, we lived in a house that was supposed to be haunted but the only thing that scarred me was a black snake that was curled up in the out-house. LOL!

No more costly than anywhere else. And the actual cost of these houses is unbeliveably reasonable...not to mention that the cost of living is pretty good around there too.

The one that I'd torment as a spectre, would be Ter-ray-za.
The one way to scare a woman would be to levitate and scatter her lingerie around the room during a press conference.
And then drag them outside and toss them into the night.

Well Pips I will have to admit this house is pretty well settled. It doesn't creak like some of them do.
I've slept alone in it many nights and never hear any sounds creaking or otherwise.
Our bedroom is in the new part of the house and that will have a tendency to creak more than the old part. If you walk on the floors they will make quite a noise tho, and some are so crooked they will make you a little seasick until you get accustomed to them.

I'm sure you would love it there. It really is beautiful and the people are very friendly. there's never any shortage of things to do and knowing how you love the water....well, let's just say there's planty there and it would be a crying shame to live there and not have a boat. Here's a couple of Beaver Lake...one from the road and one from the boat.

So much for my theory, sigh!
But I do love old houses, like I said to SweetLiberty, Older houses have such character and individuality and they are well built.
Enjoy your home in NH! :O)

Hi Libby... :) beautiful pics. I know you miss Dawn and you had such a great time... but, I missed you like crazy when you were gone. I'm glad you're "home".
To: sweetliberty
I've always said Lib, there are so many beautiful places in this country that there is no reason to rush to other countries before you see this one.
