We just got back home last night after 2 1/2 days in Eureka Spgs. We had a great time.

Gnawing arms off to escape actually is a waste of time and pretty messy.
It's more fun to have someone have to shed every stitch to escape.
*guilty look*
Umm.. not that I'd know aything about that.
/ bad joke

grannie, you are just the sweetest person. You made time when you are probably busy as a bee to send me that recipe for Grapenut Custard. You're one of a kind.

LOL... I think the family of Sweet inherited some very good genes. What do you want to bet that the grandma looks no older then twenty-four. LOL

You and Dawn enjoy your youthful appearance - it's not at all a bad thing to have going on...maybe you could take her to your upcoming prom.

Cheers, up there.

Time to check on the center-cut, thin pork chops on the grill.

You put thin pork chops on the grill? How typically Texan. I lived in Fort Worth for six years and was always amazed at what was done to good beef or pork. LOL

My thin pork chops go into a hot skillet until done. Then I make a nice thick white gravy (it is not good unless a fork stands upright in it) and serve over hot biscuits.

You think minivans are bad?

Mom's who drive SUV's no longer have control, even. The SUV's drive them places, talk on the cell phones, cause global warming, drive off the road, smash into other cars (mostly Yugos, of course), go off the edge of the road, and generally misbehave as if they are drunken students graduating from high school.

SUV's are baaaaaaaad, not to mention eeeevil.

We have two, just to tweak liberal acquaintances.........

CB, if it gets cooked around here, it gets grilled: chickens, pigs, cows, shrimps, veggies, bread, whatever...if I cook it, I grill it - you would be in hog-heaven with the results.

I quit making my gravy since I couldn't figger out a way to grill it...but Nully's got the receipe if you want some good Texas type gravy - and no, it will not support a fork. ;-)
