Did you ever get a satisfactory answer to your question? The FR Homepage is supposed to be my homepage, but I'm now landing on the "Front Page News" topic page even though http://www.freerepublic.com/ is the url. Weird!

The address for the FR homepage changed to

http://www.freerepublic.com/home.htm

for some reason but I still can't resubscribe to the SBR
