Now you know what was bad? I mean embarrasingly bad -- Patty Duke singing "Please Don't Just Stand There." I would rather be subjected to unreleased Cathy Young and the Innocents demos or Robin Luke's greatest hits. And I do not doubt that you have ready access to both!!! Thankfully, blessedly not. Nor can I recall the name of the fella who did *Fastest Thing On Wheels*. But there are worse things on heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Nothing like blaspheming Shakespeare to introduce The Buoys -- I believe the only cannibal-related song to make the Top 40. The Buoys were from Scranton, PA -- my wife's hometown -- they played at her prom!! Now there was that one by Jimmy Cross about -- ahem -- re-locating his old girlfriend in "I Want My Baby Back." I don't think I could go stride for stride with you on the really obscure stuff. I do know one Robin Luke ("Susie Darlin") piece of trivia, though. He became a professor in the school of business administration at (I believe) St. Louis University. I don't think Troy Shondell became a professor of anything, however. A fellow of infinite jest, most excellent fancy.
