Speaking of Kerry, did you read his op-ed in the WaPo yesterday? At one point he discussed political transition in Iraq and---his mantra---"internationalizing" the process. This line will be featured in future GOP ads:
"The United States can bolster Brahmini's[the U.N.'s] limited leverage by saying in advance that we will support any plan he proposes that gains the support of Iraqi leaders."
ANY PLAN. It boggles the mind to think of a president (or president wannabe) totally shirking a problem by surrendering IN ADVANCE to the U.N.

I didn't see the entire press conference, but when I tuned in, at the bottom of the screen on FOX it said that the U.N. would be overseeing or organizing Iraq elections. So, wouldn't that mean that the Bush Administration has tried to include the U.N. in the peaceful transition to a post-Saddam Iraq, contrary to the Dems' whiney complaints?

Promise the UN Carte Blanche because Kerry might need those UN kickbacks soon, Ben Affleck might steal Teresa's heart... This is the happiest I've seen her so far.
