We should also keep in mind that members of Congress probably had access to this info too. Daschle, Gephardt, Kerry, Kennedy et al. One might ask "so did Republican congress critters, where were they?" But seriously, does the media give any credence to Republicans now? Does anyone seriously think a Republican would have taken intel like this to the press then?
