I would beg to differ. It is such a moving story that it is spurring many to look to the Gospel--including Arabs. Methinks Mel has done something very, very special...

John 3:16-18 will become understandable for many moviegoers as they view the sacrifice Jesus made for mankind on the cross.

For God so loved the word that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life.

God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.

There is no judgment awaiting those who trust Him. But those who do not trust Him have already been judged for not believing in the only Son of God.

So do I, and strongly. The remark is more fitting to come out of the mouth of a Muslim than a Christian.
