You might want to check your 'cookies' file to see if Mozilla has snuck a few in there and also try "AdAware (free) to see if Mozilla is tampering in other areas.

I don't use anything from Mozilla or Gator for these reasons.

Interesting.... I've been using one version or another of a Mozilla product for several years. I currently use Firefox. I used Firebird before that and plain old Mozilla before that. Never has Mozilla "snuck a cookie" into my files. I'm not aware that Mozilla resorts to subtrefuge-- in fact, they do quite the opposite. And to put Mozilla and Gator in the same category is just plain ignorant.
