Great post, Brother. I've gotten tired of the media invoking Vietnam like an incantation of failure, myself.
My cousin and Godfather, Richard, died in VN when his medevac helicopter, MARKED WITH A RED CROSS, was shot down in 1969. His mother and father visit his grave every year on his birthday to this day.
It disgusts me to see how his, and their, sacrifice is denigrated to this day.
