Hello All,
Tomorrow I leave on a two-year walkabout to see this great planet. Am flying to Los Angeles and from there crossing the Pacific by freighter to begin my journey. Then up through India, Southeast Asia, China, Russia, down through Eastern Europe, crossing over into Africa and traveling in the countries along the Atlantic then across to Chile and back up through South and Central America, the American Midwest, western Canada and ending at St. Matthew's Island off the coast of Alaska.
Bon Vayage to Me, BluegrassScholar

Don't wear your watch, or any other valuables, where they can be seen. Like the insects you'll encounter, many people will see you as a walking opportunity. Stay alert, particularly when you're sleeping.

That's an adventure of a lifetime, one that will give you much to talk to the grandkids about. I'm somewhat jealous but I do wish you all the best in your travels. Keep daily journals, take good pictures, and I will buy the first copy of your book about your adventure!
