Hmmmm. that Is a mystery!
I just looked and it DOES say "?" in the copy my friend sent me. Can't tell if that is her editing, or a typo!
Pecans are pretty heavy, and this isn't a HUGE recipe. ANd it's a mereingue cookie.
If *I* were doing it, i'd try 1/4 cup whole pecans, which is plenty.
