Well between now and then, I recommend you check out reruns of Gargoyles, even thought it is a cartoon, it feels while watching it to more like a VERY good anime.

I watched every weekday when I was a teenager back in 1994t to 1997.

I believe it's on Disney on the weekends and on Toon Disney every weekday at night.
