This corpse farm is owned, IIRC, by the University of Tennessee, and is used to train forensic anthropologists, who do indeed investigate murders and other suspicious deaths. I might be wrong about this next part, not having read the article, but I think that participation of corpses is volontary, permission having been obtained prior to demise, of course.
