I believe in humanity, human race deserves respects by itself, alive or dead. Then why should we risk the lifes of many others trying to bring back the dead ones (men or women in uniform) on frontline battlefield, showing respect to other people is an honor of human race.

how about "leaves no one behind?" It's not necessary then, we want to make a difference, We do respect fundamental human rights and that's the way we do it.

I understand what you are trying to say, but the point you may be missing is that these people are not body-snatchers or graverobbers. The people doing this research are helping to catch and convict very bad people who have no business among us. They are not using corpses unless they were donated by the person who became the corpse. If you have infomation contrary-wise,please post a link to it.

If, after I die, I wish for my mortal remains to be used for this research, how is that being disrespectful to my corpse, since it is what I wished while alive?

And what dang difference does does it make, anyway? Once I am departed from this body, it will no more be me than the oak tree in my front yard is now.
