Please do! She deserves a Nat Geo gig.
What a woman! I wonder if she shoots guns too, besides riding an 1100 cc bike???

Thanks for this most interesting post. The young lady who took the pictures and wrote her impressions seems both adverturesome and talented. Her efforts would make a great documentary or book.
The pictures are haunting and "other worldly". I had other work to do today, but could not return to work until I had finished the whole series of pics.

Yep. This awesome lady deserves a book deal or a National Geopgraphic gig out if this, at least.

Yep. This awesome lady deserves a book deal or a National Geopgraphic gig out if this, at least. She's about to get a WHOLE lot of national attention. Check out the featured link at the top of the page.
Old W6OBB did her right proud, and is trying to get her on his nighttime radio show as a guest. Funny, but it seems like it'd be right hearing her voice talking about that place and cutting through the darkness.

Everybody make sure you see this before the Art Bell crowd eats up all her bandwidth.

Art Bell started talking about her pictures, and crashed her website. NatGeo needs to get on to this woman, she's really something. Just look at the elements of brains, courage, curiousity she combines. I hope we hear more about her adventures. NatGeo should buy her a Nikon and an open plane ticket to where ever she wants to go.

But thousands of "competent" functionaries
count our "souls" in percentages,
....
The soul, it seems--
is a difficult memory.
Nothing can be erased,
nothing subtracted,
nothing canceled,
nothing corrected! . . .
. . . Even so,--the burden is sacred,
the heavier
the dearer!
